Weave with NWO as partner agency 2025/2026

This call allows researchers from the Netherlands to be involved in bilateral research proposals submitted to DFG, FNR, or FWO as lead agency, with NWO acting as partner agency. The Dutch part of the proposal is funded via the Open Competition ENW-M instrument, with a maximum of €400,000 for one temporary scientific position and other budget modules.

Full, associate and assistant professors and other researchers with a comparable position may submit an application if they have a tenured position or a tenure track agreement at one of the organisations mentioned in the Call for Proposals. Researchers with a one-year or two-year employment contract who are expected to be offered a permanent contract are also eligible.

Critères d'éligibilité

Full, associate and assistant professors and other researchers with a comparable position may submit an application if they have a tenured position (and therefore a paid position for an indefinite period) or a tenure track agreement at one of the organisations mentioned in the Call for Proposals.
Researchers with a one-year or a two-year employment contract who are expected to be offered a permanent employment contract after the initial one-year or two-year period has elapsed, are also eligible to submit a proposal.
A main or co-applicant may only submit an ENW-M proposal, including a Weave proposal, regardless of whether NWO or DFG/FNR/FWO is lead agency, for substantive consideration once every twelve months.
