PORTALS: New Perspectives
A juried photography competition exploring the theme of "portals" — openings, thresholds, and points of transition. The competition invites photographers to explore both literal interpretations (windows, doorways, mirrors, gates, archways) and conceptual approaches representing change, movement, memory, or emotional shifting. Juror Ann Jastrab seeks images that evoke wonder, mystery, and new ways of seeing. Up to 35 images are selected for the physical exhibition in Middlebury, Vermont, with up to 40 additional images selected for an online gallery. All selected works are featured in an exhibition catalog and promoted via social media.
