Future offshore wind technologies: feasibility studies
UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £10 million to support feasibility studies in offshore wind. This opportunity is specifically aimed at advancing technology solutions within the offshore wind industry. Projects must align with the Offshore Wind Industrial Growth Plan and fall into one of five priority areas: advanced turbine technology; industrialised foundations/substructures; future electrical systems/cables; smart environmental services; or next-generation installations/operations/maintenance. Total eligible project costs must be £50,000-£250,000 with projects lasting 6-18 months.
