Film Saudi Incentive Program

Film Saudi is one of the Film Commissions' initiatives to support local and international cinema productions in their filmmaking journey in Saudi Arabia. We offer up to 60% cash rebate on film production costs. Whether you are filming feature films, animations, or documentaries, we offer you incentives to take your project to success with ease and amenity.

Chi può candidarsi

Production companies/establishments that have produced three short films or one feature film; or the director/producer has directed/produced at least two short films or one feature film. Feature film duration must be at least 40 minutes. Scripts must be submitted in Arabic and English. Proof of copyright ownership or release agreement required. For films with budget over SAR 2 million, the company must have local production experience of at least 24 months.

Criteri di ammissibilità

The duration of the feature film must be at least 40 minutes for the entire film.
The company or establishment must have produced three short films or one feature film.
The director or producer must have previously directed or produced at least two short films or one feature film.
The production company establishment applying for films with a budget of more than SAR 2 million should have local production experience for at least 24 months.
All scripts must be submitted in both Arabic and English languages.
Provide proof that the production company or establishment owns copyrights relating to the film script or provide a copy of a release agreement with the owner of those rights.
