Criteri di ammissibilità

South African citizens or permanent residents are eligible
Nationals of Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zambia are eligible
Applicants must hold or be pursuing a BSc Honours in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
Applicants with a four-year BEng (Electronic, Mechatronic, or Computer Engineering) are eligible
Minimum 65% average required in most recent academic results
Candidates must select a SARAO-approved research project
Applicants must secure a signed supervisor agreement letter on university letterhead
Two academic reference letters must be submitted by 15 July 2026
