Challenge Programme 2027 – Heat and Hypertension – understanding the mechanisms of interaction
A research funding programme supporting consortia of 2–4 research groups to elucidate the physiological mechanisms of heat exposure in the context of hypertension, with the aim of improving clinical management and reducing complications. Grants of up to DKK 30–75 million are available for projects of 6 years duration, and applications must address a human-centric, interdisciplinary research theme.
Hvem kan søke
Main applicant must be an independent tenured/tenure-track researcher employed at a European (EU, Schengen Area plus UK) university, hospital, or non-profit research organisation, with at least 75% commitment and guaranteed salary for the project period.
