Future Leaders Fellowships: Round 11, business and non-academic

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £110 million to deliver ambitious research and innovation and develop future leaders. This funding is from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Early-career researchers and innovators establishing independence or transitioning to independent roles. Applicants must be supported by a UK-based host organisation eligible for UKRI funding. Existing senior academics or those already established as independent leaders are ineligible.

Kvalifikasjonskriterier

Must be a researcher or innovator looking to establish or transition to independence
Must be based at, and have the support of, a UK organisation eligible for UKRI funding
Ineligible if already a senior researcher/innovator or have already achieved independence
Academic-hosted applicants are subject to institutional caps; check with host for internal shortlisting processes
Host must commit to providing an open-ended independent position during or after the fellowship
Fellows are expected to spend 100% of their time on the fellowship (with limited exceptions)
There is no minimum or maximum project cost
Joint job-share applications are permitted
