Indo-Pacific NGO Blended Finance Accelerator 2026

Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in partnership with Convergence Blended Finance

The Indo-Pacific NGO Blended Finance Accelerator is a five-year initiative providing catalytic grant funding and acceleration support to NGOs to design and scale blended finance solutions that unlock private capital for climate action and gender equality in the Indo-Pacific. NGOs can receive up to AUD 840,000 (approx. USD 550,000) plus expert acceleration support.

Kvalifikasjonskriterier

Proposals may only be submitted by private legal entities; individual applicants are not eligible.
Non-Profit Organizations (NGOs) that apply as the primary applicant are welcome; NGOs can be based in any country but the vehicle must target eligible countries in the Indo-Pacific.
NGOs may apply independently or along with a consortium of partners where the NGO plays a material role.
For Stage 2 and 3 grants, fund/asset managers partnering with an NGO may be considered if the NGO has a material role.
UN agencies, Development Finance Institutions, Multilateral Development Banks, and Development Agencies may not apply as lead applicant, only in a consortium with an eligible NGO as lead.
The blended finance vehicle must target one or more eligible countries (listed) in the Indo-Pacific region that are ODA-eligible and aligned with DFAT's list.
Proposals must focus on climate action and/or gender equality as core themes.
