This is an international joint initiative to support interdisciplinary and transformative research harnessing disruptive technologies to address global societal challenges, with Nordic participation managed by NordForsk. Disruptive technology is defined as an innovation that replaces or radically alters systems, processes, or behaviors for transformative economic or societal impact. The call is a collaboration between multiple international funding organizations.

Hvem kan søke

Each project team must be international and eligible to receive funds from at least three participating funding organisations, one of which must be Canadian. Projects applying for NordForsk funding must include research partners from at least two different Nordic countries (Åland Islands, Denmark, Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden). One Nordic team member must be co-principal investigator.
