Accelerator Open

Funding opportunity under the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator programme. Supports startups and SMEs in developing and scaling up high-impact innovations with potential to create new markets or disrupt existing ones.

Open to innovative SMEs, startups, and small mid-caps (up to 499 employees) based in EU member states or countries associated with Horizon Europe, developing disruptive technologies with a technology readiness level (TRL) of 5 or higher.

Innovation must be validated in a laboratory or relevant environment, reaching a minimum of TRL 5.
Focus on innovations with significant economic impact and potential to attract follow-on private investment.
Small mid-caps must need rapid scaling to TRL 9.
