Creative Caravans Grant – AFAC Arts Funding 2026

The Creative Caravans Grant under AFAC's Ecologies of Culture programme supports the expansion of cultural content through circulation, touring, and media dissemination. Open to organisations from nine Arab countries, the grant funds festivals, touring projects, exhibitions, residencies, and independent digital media platforms. Two funding tracks are available: Festivals/Touring (up to €65,000 for 12 projects) and Digital Media (€15,000-€25,000 for 14 platforms). All recipients receive mandatory 3-day capacity-building training, mentorship, and peer-learning access.

Kto może aplikować

Organisations from nine Arab countries (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia) with at least two prior events. Excludes governmental entities and AFAC insiders. Priority given to non-current AFAC grantees.

Kryteria kwalifikacyjne

Open to organisations based in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, or Tunisia
Festivals/Touring applicants must have organized at least two previous events in the eligible countries
Digital Media platforms must have been operating for at least two years with publicly available content
Governmental entities are excluded from applying
AFAC staff, board members, jurors, and their relatives/business partners are excluded
Active AFAC grant holders may apply but priority is given to non-grantees
Partners from outside the nine eligible countries may participate as collaborators but not as co-applicants
