Future for Nature Awards 2027

A global competition recognising young conservation leaders aged 18-35 who are actively protecting wild species and achieving tangible, long-term conservation outcomes. Winners receive €50,000, the Future for Nature Award, and the opportunity to present their work at an awards event in the Netherlands in May 2027.

Individuals aged 18-35 (born on or after 31 May 1992 and before 31 August 2008) who have achieved significant and long-term conservation outcomes for one or more wild species, demonstrated leadership, creativity, commitment, integrity, innovation, and a strong intention to continue their conservation work. Applicants must be individuals, not organisations, programmes, or groups.
Candidates must be born on or after 31 May 1992 and before 31 August 2008.
Must have achieved significant and long-term conservation outcomes for one or more wild species.
Must demonstrate leadership, creativity, commitment, integrity, and innovation in their work.
Must show a strong intention to continue their conservation efforts.
Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both in writing and speaking.
No administrative deductions may be made or claimed by parent or partner organisations.
