
Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGP)
The Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGP) is a Japanese government funding programme managed by the Embassy of Japan in Uganda. It provides financial assistance to non-profit, development-oriented organizations to implement small-scale community-based development projects that directly benefit grassroots populations in Uganda. The programme focuses on human security areas including basic infrastructure, health, education, and water/sanitation. Open to non-profit, development-oriented organizations (NGOs, CBOs, medical/educational institutions, cooperatives, local authorities) with at least two years of grassroots project experience, valid legal registration, and full-time paid staff.
