UNESCO Prize for Girls' and Women's Education

The UNESCO Prize for Girls' and Women's Education honors outstanding and innovative contributions by individuals, institutions, or organizations that advance girls' and women's education. Funded by the Government of the People's Republic of China, two laureates are awarded US$50,000 annually to further their work. Nominations are accepted exclusively from UNESCO Member State governments and NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO.
