AUFF Recruiting Grants can be a tool in ongoing negotiations, where an offer of start funding will be vital to the successful recruitment of a particularly attractive candidate, who has other job offers on hand. Applications must be submitted by the head of department on behalf of the candidate and include relevant appendices as well as a description of the recruitment. There are no ordinary application rounds, and the 2026 budget is DKK 20 million.

The target group includes assistant professors, associate professors and professors. Applications must be submitted by the head of department upon recommendation from the dean.
