Contingency Grant Scheme

A one-time grant of ₹62,500 to support fieldwork, stationery, computer consumables, and related research expenses for PhD scholars. Applications are accepted online from 15 June 2026 to 14 July 2026.

Applicants must have a confirmed PhD registration in recognized institutions. Candidate age should be less than 40 years (relaxation for reserved categories). Candidates already receiving major doctoral fellowships such as JRF, CSIR, ICAR, ICMR, ICHR, ICSSR, MANF, or RGNF are not eligible.
