Doctoral Programmes in Germany
This scholarship programme offers the opportunity to complete a doctoral degree in Germany, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. It provides monthly payments of 1,400 euros, travel allowance, and annual research allowance for up to four years. Applications are currently being accepted for funding beginning in 2026.

You can apply if you have above-average qualifications and you completed your Master's degree or Diplom, or in exceptional cases a Bachelor's degree, at the latest by the time the funding period begins.Förmåner & fördelar

- Annual research allowance of € 460
- Monthly rent subsidy (possible after start of funding)
- Monthly allowance for accompanying family members (possible after start of funding)
- Subsidy for additional costs due to disability or chronic illness (possible after start of funding)
