Cruise Development Fund

The Cruise Development Fund (CDF) supports the deployment of cruise ships in Singapore and/or development initiatives that will grow the cruise industry in Singapore. It is open to cruise lines, intermediaries, experience owners, charterers, and industry trainers, and funds qualifying third-party project-related costs such as port charges, market development costs, content production, and consultancy.

Projects must not have commenced at application and should fall under categories like generating foreign cruise passengers, developing cruise packages or experiences, seasonal themed cruises, or cruise-specific training.

Eligibility criteria

Open to cruise lines, intermediaries such as travel agents and ground handlers, experience owners, charterers, and industry trainers.
Projects must fall under at least one category: generate incremental foreign cruise passengers to Singapore through sailings to/from Singapore; development and marketing of cruise packages; development of pre/post cruise experiences, shore executions, and/or land tour packages targeted at cruise passengers; development of seasonal themed cruises; development of cruise-specific industry training programmes; strengthen the potential or attractiveness of cruising in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia.
Projects must not have commenced at the point of grant application (no start of work, payments made, or contractual agreements with suppliers before application).
