EIC Accelerator

The EIC Accelerator provides funding for startups and SMEs to develop and scale up deep-tech innovations with the potential to create or disrupt markets. It offers grant components up to €2.5 million and equity investments up to €10 million, along with coaching, mentoring, and networking.

Eligibility criteria

Start-ups and SMEs established in EU Member States or countries associated with Horizon Europe
Small mid-caps (fewer than 499 employees) eligible under specific scaling circumstances
Applicants may apply if they plan to form an SME before the grant agreement is signed.
Projects must have reached at least TRL 5 (technology validated in a relevant environment)
Applicants from the United Kingdom are restricted to grant-type funding only.
Evidence of a sound business model and scaling potential is required.
Clear intellectual property (IP) rights must be demonstrated.
Individual SMEs with fewer than 250 employees and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises
