Functioning of Intercropping Systems PhD Fellowship 2026

Two fully funded PhD positions within the Dutch-Danish 'Robotic Intercropping' project at Wageningen University. Focus is on sustainable crop systems, resource-use efficiency, biodiversity, and ecosystem services through experimental and modelling approaches.

Who can apply

Applicants must hold a relevant MSc degree in agriculture, biology, environmental science, plant sciences, or related fields. Experience with experimental fieldwork, plant modelling, or agro-ecological research is desirable. Proficiency in English and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team required. Must clearly indicate position preference in application.
