IndiaJeevan Raksha Padak Series of Awards 2026
A series of awards (Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak, Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak, Jeevan Raksha Padak) conferred for meritorious acts of saving human life in situations such as drowning, accidents, fire, electrocution, natural calamities, or rescue operations. Nominations are invited annually from authorized government bodies, and recipients receive a medallion, certificate, and a one-time monetary allowance.
Who can apply
Person of either sex in all walks of life are eligible, including members of CAOFs/CPOs and Police Force who have shown exemplary devotion to duty in saving human life. The award can be conferred posthumously. Recommendations must be for acts performed within two calendar years from the date of consideration (acts prior to 1st October 2023 are not eligible for the year 2025).Perks & benefits
