A competition for Finnish companies to develop innovative solutions for global challenges. Selected companies receive funding and support to accelerate their growth and internationalization.

Who can apply

Finnish companies or globally operating companies with significant R&D investment capacity in Finland. Two categories: (1) large global leaders and (2) emerging global players. Joint applications between two companies are permitted. Existing leading company awardees may apply for increased funding.

Eligibility criteria

Globally operating companies capable of significant additional R&D investments in Finland are eligible
Joint applications between two companies are permitted
Companies currently receiving leading company funding may apply for increased funding if they commit to further raising total R&D expenditure in Finland
Category 1: Large, globally operating companies with capacity for major additional R&D investments in Finland
Category 2: Companies aspiring to become global players, developing new business, or strengthening group roles
Applicants must propose solutions to significant future missions or major technological hurdles that will directly impact Finland's national competence and competitiveness
Finnish companies or globally operating companies with significant R&D investment capacity in Finland
