Strengthening global health security in India to contain public health threats and accelerate outbreak response
This NOFO’s purpose is to support district, state and national public health systems in India to advance GHSA priorities to prevent, detect and respond to infectious disease threats. CDC will work with the Government of India to strengthen capacity to control disease outbreaks at their source and neutralize public health threats, focusing on five key areas: public health workforce, disease surveillance, laboratory systems, emergency preparedness and response, and antimicrobial resistance.

City or township governments, special district governments, state governments, county governments, public and Indian housing authorities, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, nonprofits non-higher education with 501(c)(3), nonprofits non-higher education without 501(c)(3), other Native American tribal organizations, public and state institutions of higher education, private institutions of higher education.Sources
