Tote Board Direct Funding (General Project Grants)

A direct grant from Tote Board for new programmes from not-for-profit organisations that meet emerging community needs and align with Tote Board's strategic outcomes. Projects must have a budget above SGD 50,000 and align with at least one of the following areas: healthy lives, empowered vulnerable groups, cohesive society, or liveable home. Applications must be submitted 3-6 months before project commencement via the OurSG Grants Portal with CorpPass login.

Who can apply

Not-for-profit organisations (NPOs), corporate organisations, or social enterprises that are unable to find a suitable partner fund; the project must align with at least one of Tote Board's strategic outcomes (Healthy Lives, Empowered Vulnerable Groups, Cohesive Society, Liveable Home) and have a budget above SGD 50,000. Excluded: projects that benefit only an individual, religious/political/ideological activities that may undermine national security or social cohesion, commercial projects for profit-making, and debt/loan repayments.

Eligibility criteria

Your project must support one or more of Tote Board's strategic outcomes: Healthy Lives, Empowered Vulnerable Groups, Cohesive Society, or Liveable Home.
Your project's expenditure as listed in the budget must be above $50,000.
Projects that benefit only an individual are not eligible.
Religious, political, and/or ideological activities, including causes or advocacy supported directly or indirectly by actors which may undermine national security, sovereignty or social cohesion in Singapore are not eligible.
Commercial project(s) for the sole purpose of profit making are not eligible.
Debt/loan repayments are not eligible.
Applicants must be non-profit organisations, corporate organisations, or social enterprises unable to find a suitable partner fund.
Applications must be received 3-6 months before the project commencement.
