2026-27 Franklin Furnace FUND for Performance Art

Annual grants of $2,000-$10,000 to support early-career artists in creating major new performance art works to be presented in New York City. The Fund prioritizes avant-garde, time-based, and experimental work that is vulnerable due to institutional neglect, cultural bias, ephemerality, or politically unpopular content. Initiated in 1985 with support from the Jerome Foundation.
