Agricultural Clean Technology Program — Research and Innovation

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

Provides financial contributions to develop or improve clean technologies in green energy, precision agriculture, or bioeconomy. Supports pre-market innovation, research, development, demonstration, and commercialization activities with up to $2 million in non-repayable or repayable contributions.

Who can apply

For-profit and not-for-profit organizations, Indigenous groups, and legal entities in Canada able to enter binding agreements; projects must focus on pre-market innovation, research, development, demonstration, or commercialization of clean technologies with significant GHG emission reduction potential; priority areas: green energy/energy efficiency, precision agriculture, bioeconomy; technology must be tested and ready for next stage of commercial development; market need must be demonstrated.
