The BIRAC Product Commercialization Program (PCP) Fund provides financial support for market-ready biotechnology products (TRL 7 or higher) that have completed successful validation but require funding for market launch, test-validation in target markets, and large-scale commercialization. This program bridges the gap between product development and market readiness, covering areas including drugs, biosimilars, regenerative medicine, vaccines, bio-based chemicals, diagnostics, devices, and bioinformatics. Support is provided as a milestone-based repayable contribution payable as royalty over 5 years post-project completion.

Who can apply

Indian biotech startups incorporated within 10 years with at least 51% Indian shareholding, products at TRL 7 or higher, ready for commercialization within 6-18 months.
