EIC Accelerator 2026 - Short proposal

The EIC Accelerator supports companies (principally SMEs, including start-ups) to scale up high impact innovations with the potential to create new markets or disrupt existing ones. It provides a combination of grant and investment funding and Business Acceleration Services, focusing on deep tech innovations requiring patient capital.

Who can apply

Single SMEs, small mid-caps (up to 499 employees), natural persons intending to establish an SME, or entities from EU Member States or Associated Countries; non-associated third country entities must intend to establish/relocate an SME to a Member State or Associated Country.

Eligibility criteria

A single company classified as an SME, established within a Member State or an Associated Country.
A single company classified as a small mid-cap (up to 499 employees) established in a Member State or an Associated Country, but only for exceptional cases for rapid scale up purposes.
One or more natural persons or legal entities from a Member State or an Associated Country intending to establish an SME or small mid-cap.
Entities from a non-associated third country intending to establish an SME or relocate an existing SME to a Member State or an Associated Country, with proof of effective establishment at time of full proposal submission.
