Eligibility criteria

Must be a business based and registered in England
Must be a farmer, horticulturalist, forestry owner, or contractor servicing these sectors
Must be registered in the Rural Payments service and hold a Single Business Identifier (SBI)
Government bodies and agencies are ineligible
Individuals who left farming via the Lump Sum Exit Scheme are ineligible unless currently operating as a contractor
For Animal Health and Welfare grants, must farm beef/dairy cattle, sheep, pigs, or broiler/laying chickens
Items must be new or ex-display (never removed from supplier premises before purchase)
Equipment cannot be purchased via hire purchase, lease, or part-exchange
